Florida Theatre - Inside the Times-Union
Center for the Performing Arts is the Jacksonville
Symphony Orchestra and it performs Mozart, Beethoven
and family musical interludes. It performs all year
long in the Jacksonville area. At the FCCJ this is
Jacksonville, Florida’s home to national and
international shows. There are Broadway shows, Dance,
Theatre and Family Entertainment. Please call the

dates of shows. The Ritz Theatre and
La Villa Museum has a 400 seat state of the art theatre
and it also has a museum within it. A wonderful afternoon

This is one theatre you will want to take the entire
family to. It is Northeast Florida’s only large
format screen and it shows films suitable for the
whole family. Enjoy a show at the World Gold Hall
of Fame Imax Theatre. The Alhambra Dinner
Theatre has been in existence for 35 years.
It offers Broadway shows and comedy’s that are
put on after a complete buffet meal. They are open
on Tuesday through Sunday evenings and on Saturday
and Sunday there are matinees. Call ahead for shows

to purchase your tickets in advance so that you are
guaranteed a seat as they do sell out rather quickly.
